It is hard to be a techno-phobe these days!

Before starting the MAT program I had not used a computer to do much more that typing papers and communicating via e-mail. Now I have a blog. I am creating my own website. And I have (more or less) successfully, put together thre different photoshopped images. I am getting over my fear of the scary, unreliable, computer. Or, so I think- today, when I was typing a paper for Diversity, the power went out. I was litterally done- the spell check was wrapping up- an poof! "Great there goes the paper!" I thought to myself, " I can look forward to sitting here for at least another hour."
Then I decided to buck-up and start all over again. I started up the computer and opened Word. And what do you know?! The computer had kept my paper. In high school I has lost a few papers to similar experiences- So, guess I was leary. Anyway, i finish my paper and saved it. Whew!
While I might be slow at this, I am learning. One power outage at a time.
